Time To Take Action

Its official, we are all overwhelmed by this tragedy. Theres a lot of heart wrenching hopelessness in the air. We cant change whats happened, but we can do something to help out.
As you know, the people in North M'sia are in dire need of food and other supplies. There is a collection going on for non perishable food, clothes and toys. If you guys have things to give but dont know how to, just drop it by my house. Since these are urgently needed supplies, its gonna leave for the north on Thursday. So whatever you guys wanna give, it has to be latest by Thurs mornin.

A Dangerous Change

On a different subject, they were, again, showing the 2004 grammy awards. I know i've said this like a million times, but Beyoncé's "Dangerously In Love" was one of the best performance i've ever seen on the grammys. Troubled Waters

This morning , i was sickened at the hopelessness of it all(latest estimate, 12000 dead). Then i saw this small article in the news papers. As soon as the disaster struck, people started calling up NST...asking, no demanding, that NST set up a fund. By press time , the NST - Berita Harian Fund had already collected a whopping RM 850,000 for the victims of the quake.
With people like this, i think we will be alright.I am reminded of this 1969 song by Paul Simon called Like a Bridge Over Troubled Water. Its about the endurance of the human spirit .It is a fitting song for a time like this .God bless us all.

Collective Headache

Just imagine youself getting ready to go take a shower. All of a sudden ur heads dizzy ,and you feel like throwing up big time.Now unless you had too much to drink the night before , you would certainly be dumb founded by this sudden feeling of sickness. You turn around and see the photo frame of your long dead grandfather shaking with such vigour as if possesed by his ghost. Just when you think you are losing your freaking mind , you realise people around you are having a headache 2.
Thats wat happened yesterday,here in our country. Heck, we should be lucky most escaped with jus that, an ache in the head.

Da Double Whammy

By now most of you must have seen the news thats been literally hitting at our shores. As if an earth quake wasnt bad enough , we also now have to deal with the tidal wave.Whats worse is that its so close to home. And the death toll, thousands dead and still counting. The poor people didnt even know what hit them.
Mother Nature must be really pissed at us to show her wrath to this extent. That earth quake must have been pretty strong to travel across the ocean. God, what away to end Christmas and start a new year.

Dunhillium Theory

The relativity of cigarettes and alcohol is pretty hard to comprehend. If you do not smoke or drink, you have no fucking idea what the hell it's all about, eventhough you have convinced yourself otherwise. So don't even talk about it if you have never been in the genre. Insomnia....

Got back from racheal's christmas gathering 2 hours ago, and still can't get any sleep. My biological clock is totally fucked up. Even the boring programmes on tv couldn't put me to sleep. Well, maybe it's because i don't wanna sleep. Maybe sleeping is totally unnecessary, and if i fill my blood with enough alcohol and nicotine, I wont have to sleep. Even all this talk about sleeping isn't making me sleepy.

A Bloodthirsty Christmas

Christmas for me this year doesn't suck so bad. It's lazy, quiet and family-ish. Usually it's, wake-up-early-in-the-morning, entertain family members, and, please can i have a moment to myself!!-ish. Nothing puts you in a better mood like your mother saying you don't have to spend christmas with your relatives.
Anyway, it was quite a treat yesterday on MTV; they showed a winter break special episode of Happy Tree Friends (yes, i know it's a cartoon, and, yes, i know i'm 22 years old, but you know what, i don't give a fuck what you guys think). If you've missed it, watch it online here. It's quite therapeutic, if you ask me.

My Wish This Christmas

Theres nothing in particular that i want. This year has been good to me. Had loads of fun and got to spend a lot of time with people who mean the world to me. And i didnt have too many problems. I always felt my family and friends had more problems than me. Dont know why.
So if i had a wish, this is what it would be. As good as this year was, i hope the next one is better. Or at least just as good. For all concerned.
If Santa had online access , i just want him to know ill try to be less naughty next year. And i promise, no throwing up on peoples lawns anymore.

No Cool Scientist?

My coursemates are fucking robots with no personality. The guys behave like fucking faggots and the girls, well, do they even look like girls? They are like a species of slugs which never get laid, the only thing they get near to sex is sucking on their on dick. Okay slugs don't to that. I'm just coming to a scary fact that science is not for me. I'm the wrong age and place.

There was this movie i saw...

...and i absolutely have to talk about it. The title is The Life of David Gale.Some of you might have seen it being advertised on tv, but the adverts do the movie no justice.
I wont spill the whole story but i will tell you guys a bit about it. The movie is about David Gale ( marvellously played by Kevin Spacey ), a brilliant and morally righteous - to the extent of being a fault - guy who dedicates his life to the abolition of the death penalty in the state of Texas. In a macabre twist of faith , he is convicted and sentenced to death for the rape and murder of his best friend , also an opponent of the death penalty. It is now up to the cynical journalist ( Kate Winslet ) to find out the truth before its too late.
This is not your ordinary who-dun-it thriller. In this movie ,morals are jagged....and the ethically conscious becomes the criminally insane.watch out for the final twist , at the very last minute.Not playin in a theatre near you ,but if you havent watched , do try to.
Warning: This is no Christmas movie. I am a fairly optimistic and happy person. But that night, after watching this movie , i went to sleep with dark and gloomy thoughts.

Kick-Ass Bam!

I do not watch too much MTV like a friend of mine (you know who U are), but i do try to surf the channel on a look out for new videos and stuff. In Malaysia, we do not have the other mtv channels like MTV2 and stuff, we have it all shoved into one fucked-up channel, appropriately named MTV. But there is this show, which I think is totally awesome, titled Viva La Bam. It's absolutely digs grave. Most of you probably already know about it. Those of you who don't, watch it and you'll know what i mean. If i'm not mistaken, it's on saturday afternoons. Malaysian timing of course.

Isn't it great that English Premier League players wear those wristbands to show their support to charity organizations? I heard it's supposed to be absolutely free, and when I mean free, it's really free (even shipping is free). Well at least in the UK. I mean why the fuck make it free? Couldn't they like charge £1 each or something? Maybe it's a marketing concept....

Waikiki Anyone?

Yesterday me and my friends went out to this club called waikiki, which I swear, with the amount of sweaty guys squeezing through the crowd of more sweaty guys, this place could have easily been spotted as the most sorted-out gay bar in PJ. The music SUCKS!! There were HOT looking babes but, the numbers were like, 1 babe : 99 men. Did I mention the music SUCKS!! Mr. DJ wasn’t doing his job, being distracted by the guys taking turns sucking his cock and pumping semen up his ass.
