Planning the 26th of March

26th March was Sangeetha ( Rajamanikam, not Chandramohan) 's bday. It's a tradition for this bunch of friends to hold a bday bash in Bangsar: partying, dancing like theres no tomorrow and occasionally some vomitting- you know, the stuff all mature adults do. I was in charge of the organising. Sort of a secretary cum P.R.O..
I wanted it so badly to work out. And how i tried. The plan was to first have it on a Friday. Friday turned out to be no good. So Saturday it was. But again things werent going as planned. Plans were made, cancelled, improvised, reverted back...the rest was a blur. The final outcome- no gala bday bash. But things werent all sour. If we could not have a bday bash in Bangsar, one in Kajang would have to do. Projet is a very unorthodox place to celebrate, but in the end Geetha got her party.
To Priya and Prema, sorry for the abrupt change of plans. Rachael and Shankar, i know my repeated calls, pleadings and beggings were annoying. To Arvind, i might have failed as an organiser but i didnt go down without a fight .And finally, Geetha. Nothing worked out as planned. But things worked out pretty fine, dont you think? Happy Bday, girl. Love you lots.
