The Guy Who Has Everything

Life aint perfect. Not even close. Contrary to what some people say of me, I know for a fact that life is no bed of roses. but this post isnt about me. Its about someone that i knew in passing. But left huge enough an imprint on a lot of people.
The first time i saw him was almost two years ago. But in no time at all, i understood why everyone adored him. The first thing that you notice about him is his handsome face, and sharp, piercing eyes. there is no denying the looks that god bestowed upon him.
Then theres his intelligence. One of the highest rising stars where i work, he awed everyone with his intellectual prowess. This guy just about knew everything in the financial world. Everone from the Head of Department to the regulars like me would consult him on work issues. Dont ask me how he knws all that he knows, he just does. Maybe he has like a device like Astro MAx for his brains.
By now i can guess what some you might be thinking. That i have a huge crush on him. Well, I didnt. Good looking as he may be, he wasnt my type as far as crush goes. But he was the kind of person everyone admired and loved. And to top it all, he was in love with a wonderful girl. And my god, they looked so good together. perfect for each other.
This guy had a lot to brag about. But he never did. He was a good man, and every good fortune that he had, he deserved everey last one of it. People werent jealous of him. Everyone just understood. Sometimes your path crosses a star. Rather than trying to chase it, you should just let it shine. Maybe some of its light will rub off on you.
Last week was his last week with the bank. Because of certain issues I face in my office, i didnt get a chance to wish him a proper goodbye. But my best wishes are with him. Not that he needs it, The Guy Who Has Everything.
